Auction of vehicles Earns NHA Rs60m

The National Highway Authority managed to sell 60 out of 76 vehicles put on auction on Tuesday. The authority received a good response.

Twelve vehicles could not be sold as for certain reasons while two bidders canceled their bids.  

The auction began at 10.30am and closed late in the evening, generating Rs60.39 million for the Authority who is in need of financial assistance.

NHA plans to auction 219 vehicles at all its stations across the country.
