Smart Number Plates Will Soon Alert Police, Ambulance in Dubai

Now the number plates will be able to automatically send out the alert to police and ambulances centers in case of accidents or any other emergencies.

Dubai will become world’s first city next month to run a pilot of smart plates. It is testing the Road and Transport Authority’s (RTA) Tag2Connect (T2C) platform.

This system was on display at the Dubai International Governments Exhibition (DIGAE). This system will replace existing metal plates.
