Sale of Locally Assembled Cars Increases in July
According to latest data released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), sale of locally assembled vehicles, including jeeps and light commercial vehicles jumped to 19577 units in July 2017 as compared to 13, 932 units in the same month of 2016.
Due to strong demand for Wagon-R, sale of Pak Suzuki increased 37% year on year (YOY) in July 2017.
Sale of Cultus rose 66% YOY with the introduction of a new model.
However, Honda outperformed its peers in vehicle sales.
