UAE introduces new rules for expat driving licences

New Federal traffic laws allow driving license only for two years.

After that period, license renewal validity will be 10 years for UAE citizens, and 5 for expats.

According to ministry, expatriates should have a valid residence permit for the renewal of licenses. Ruling has introduced stricter traffic laws in the country.
