Toyota Recall Extends To UAE
Toyota has extended its vehicles recall to UAE, as it is recalling nearly 40,000 vehicles from United Arab Emirates. Toyota distributor in UAE has issued a statement regarding this.
It is the part of an earlier campaign launched by Toyota to recall 2.9 million Toyota Vehicles from Oceana, Japan, Middle East and other smaller markets.
Nearly 40,000 Toyota vehicles will be recalled from UAE due to air-bag issue.
Recalled started due to the air-bags made by Takata that can explode when exposed to extreme hot conditions. Nearly 16 deaths have been linked to these air-bags.
Current recall is said to be the biggest in the history of auto-industry. Toyota is not the only auto-manufacture that is affected by this; some other auto-makers are also recalling their vehicles.
