Tesla Sold 53,000 Made in China EV's in November
Tesla continues to ramp up sales of Chinese-made vehicles. The company sold 52,859 vehicles made in China in November, including 21,127 for export, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). In October, Tesla sold 54,391 vehicles made in China, of which 40,666 were exported. The drop in exports in November suggests Tesla is selling more EVs to Chinese buyers in the world's largest auto market. Tesla sold 56,006 Chinese-made vehicles in September, according to the CPCA. This was the largest number of Chinese-made vehicles sold since Tesla's Shanghai plant began producing cars nearly two years ago.
