Honda Aims to Co-Developed Prologue Electric SUV with GM
Japan's Honda Motor Co. has been late in entering the burgeoning EV segment as automakers around the world have unveiled new battery-powered vehicles. But Honda is teaming up with General Motors on an all-electric SUV called the Prologue, which will launch in the US in 2024. Honda expects the Prologue SUV to be a major seller and plans to sell 70,000 units a year. The upcoming prologue marks the beginning of Honda's shift to electric vehicles. Honda plans to continue adding new electric models to its lineup and aims to sell 500,000 electric vehicles in the US by 2030.
