Xpeng Launches 3 New Variants of EV Equipped with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Technology
Chinese electric vehicle startup and competitor Tesla Xpeng Inc announced today that it has expanded its product offering with the launch of three new versions of the fully electric P7 and X3 sedans in China that are powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. Three new LFP battery vehicles include rear-wheel drive (RWD) versions of Xpeng's P7 Standard Range Smart and Premium models. Both will use an LFP battery capable of covering an NEDC distance of 480 km (298 miles).
