Volkswagen Blames Its Suppliers for the Chip Shortage Affecting the Production of its Vehicle

 

The current chip shortage is impacting car production around the world, including German automaker Volkswagen AG, which is the world's second-largest automaker. However, the automaker blamed its suppliers. Volkswagen says poor planning on the part of its suppliers is only compounding the chip shortage that plagues the global auto industry.
