EV Startup Rivian is Interested in Making Smaller EVs for Sale in China and Europe

The outlet stated that Rivian will come out in two small vehicles which will target consumers in China and Europe. Car manufacturers may build several electric cars in these countries. Rivian plans to sell SUVs in Europe by 2022, with sales starting in China soon after. Rivian founder and CEO, R.J. Scaringe told the outlet that small vehicles specially designed for customers in other countries will help the company expand its volume in that market. Despite its small size, the upcoming EV will share many components such as the R1T pickup and R1S SUV. We assume that the powertrain, design, and features will all be shared between vehicles, similar to what Tesla did with its electric cars.
