GM Ultium Batteries will Feature a Wireless Management System

GM has a massive plan to take lead in the electric car war, and it includes high-tech batteries. The General Motors recently announced its upcoming line of Ultium batteries, featuring the brand's Ultima battery technology. Ultium batteries are a direct competitor to those found in Tesla's electric cars, with capacities ranging from 50 kWh to 200 kWh. The larger battery should have a range of up to 400 miles. The batteries, which will be made in a joint venture with LG Chem, will also be incredibly affordable, costing around $ 100 per kWh.
