Electric Vehicle Startup Bollinger Motors Presents its Battery-Powered DELIVER-E Pickup
Electric truck start-up Bollinger Motors has unveiled its new concept of the fully electric DELIVER-E delivery van. The Michigan-based company said DELIVER-E offers the same technology and components used in the company's rugged electric trucks, which are well suited for the delivery market. The fully electric front-wheel drive DELIVER-E platform will be designed to fit Class 2B, 3, 4, and 5. Bollinger said there will be a wide choice of batteries available for the DELIVER-E, including 70, 105, 140, 175 and 210 kWh. Zero-emission electric delivery vehicles are ideal for urban areas because they are quieter and less polluting than diesel or gasoline vehicles. Electric vehicles also significantly reduce maintenance costs for fleet operators.
