The federal government is ready to introduce new vehicle standards for local automakers. In a tweet, the federal Minister of Science and Information Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, said that the initial new standards will be presented to the cabinet for approval within a month. "It was a difficult task and we faced many obstacles in the process," added the Minister. He made the statement on social media when asked by a user about the continuing rise in car prices in Pakistan. The user asked the minister to seek help from China in this regard.
