Nissan Cuts more Shifts in Japan due to Low Demand
Nissan Motor Co. announced on Friday that it will reduce its teams at its three assembly plants in Japan due to reduced demand as the automaker struggles to recover from a drop in sales caused by the pandemic of coronavirus. In a statement posted on its website, Nissan regrets canceling all night shifts at one of its production sites in Kyushu, in southern Japan, from June 29 to July 31. Night shifts at his other Kyushu site will end from July 20 to 31.
