CNG prices Decrease in Punjab and Islamabad

The Pakistani government has significantly reduced the price of CNG in Islamabad and Punjab. Please note that the rate has been reduced by 12.5 PKR and the new price is 72 PKR. The new CNG price came into effect on May 1, 2020. The price reduction is due to the overall drop in the LNG rate. The authority has also reduced the price of gasoline by 15 PKR rupees per liter, and its price is now 81.58 PKR per liter. In addition, the new price for high-speed diesel, kerosene, and light-speed diesel is respectively 80.10 PKR per liter, 47.44 PKR per liter, and 47.51 PKR per liter. However, the petroleum tax (PL) has been increased on petroleum products. The PL in diesel has increased by Rs4.95 per liter and is now at Rs30 per liter. In addition, the PL in gasoline, kerosene, and light-speed diesel is Rs 23.76 per liter, Rs18.02 per liter, and Rs11.18 per liter.
