Abu Dhabi Police get Serious with Noisy Cars
Abu Dhabi Police Authority started a campaign on social media to warn the drivers about the danger of noise pollution of the vehicles in the UAE. They also said that if anyone gets caught with a noisy car will be fined with 12,000 AED fine and also 12 back points on their license. Khalifa Al Khaili, director of the Traffic Control Department said that noise pollution of vehicles hamper driver behavior while they are driving on the road which causes accidents. He also advised that not to use the horn in places like hospitals and schools etc… They have also installed radars that are capable of taking pictures of the number plate of any vehicle if it sounds exceed above 95 decibels.
