FREE PARKING AND ZERO FINES TO THE UAE DURING THIS EID AL FITR
With the start of the Eid Al Fitr holiday season, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has had some good news to share. He announced that all paid parking areas across the city will be free from June 2 through June 6. This allows motorists to park their vehicles for free in one of the paid parking areas for a total period of six days. (including Thursday June 7). However, the RTA mentions that the use of all multi-storey car parks in the city will always be chargeable.
Meanwhile, other emirates like Abu Dhabi and Ajman also offer free parking in all public parking areas. In the national capital, authorities have announced that all surface parking spaces will be free until Saturday, June 8. However, the city's usual residential parking system will remain in effect during the holidays. For motorists in the northern emirate of Ajman, the municipality and the urban planning department have announced that parking spaces throughout the city will be free during the Eid al Fitr holidays.
