Government of Pakistan Aiming to Convert 3000 CNG Station into EV Charging Station

In order to promote the trend of the Electric Vehicle in Pakistan, government is aiming to convert more than 3000 CNG Station into Electric Vehicle Charging Station. The Government of Pakistan brings its first ever National Electric Vehicle Policy, according to this policy 70% of the vehicles will be converted into to electric vehicle by 2030. Currently there is no setup and infrastructure for charging of the EV vehicles. Government of Pakistan aiming to start its campaign of Clean and Green Pakistan by introducing approximately 100,000 cars and 500,000 motorbikes and rickshaws in the four year of duration. This initiative will also impact on the importing of the fuel and will save 1$ billion dollar of oil import bill annually.
