Non Japanese automobile manufacturers are overheated to invest Pakistan

Pakistan automobile policy promotes new entry by automakers, but according to the auto industry officials, there is information that “14 applications are currently approved” . Three Chinese joint ventures have started local production. Until now, Japanese brands have been almost 100% of Pakistan’s automobile market, but the entry of non – Japanese manufacturers has finally overheated. In the future, the trend in the local automobile market will start to attract attention.

In the PAPS, Chinese and Korean automakers showed a strong presence. KIA Motors (Korea) and Changan Automobiles (China), which announced their entry into Pakistan using the new entry manufacturer preferential system from 2016 to 2021 based on the automobile development policy (ADP), announced new models will be launch in Pakistan in coming future.
