Government of Pakistan bringing New Auto Policy for the Local Auto Industry which will be implemented from 2022

Abdul Razzaq Dawood, the advisor for commerce, textile, Industry, Production, and Investment in Pakistan called meeting with the EBD (Engineering Board and Development) to form new auto Policy which will be implemented from 2020.

In this meeting all the important Aspects were discussed in the auto policy, this policy will encourage international brands of car manufacturing to invest in the auto industry of Pakistan and local manufacturers will be convinced that their consents will be prioritized.

The current Auto Policy 2016-21 is a huge step for boosting the local auto industry but the devaluation of Pakistani Rupee against Dollar Causes increase in the Price of vehicles, which is severely hitting the sales of new locally manufactured vehicles.

The Government wanted to secure the millions of dollar investments made by international brands like Hyundai, KIA, etc… by providing Tax-based incentives to new auto Companies Investing in Pakistan and also Consistency in the auto policy of Pakistan.
