CDA to Install Smart Traffic Signals in Islamabad

Capital Development Authority has decided to install Smart Traffic Signals around Islamabad which will work depending on the vehemence of the traffic.

According to the Authority, the first stage aims to install 20 smart signals on various roads in Islamabad. The numbers will be increased later across the city.

CDA seeks to boost smooth traffic flow and reduce traffic jams at various intersections at peak hours. Furthermore, 20 display timer devices will be placed at important and major cross-sections in the capital.
