Dh500, 4 Black Points for Using Expired Tyres in UAE

Police have warned motorists against using vehicles with old or expired tyres.

In a public service announcement, Abu Dhabi Police reminded the vehicles owners that they will get penalty of Dh500 fine, four black points and have their vehicles impounded for one week if caught using unfit tyres.

Police urged motorists to inspect their vehicle tyres on regular basis, check the air pressure and to ensure their cars pass the vehicle renewal test.
