Mitsubishi to Widen Gap between Crossovers, Launch Outlander Sport-Size EV
Mitsubishi is reportedly preparing to overhaul its crossover lineup to widen the gap between each model.
Mimicking partner Nissan’s positioning of Pathfinder, Rogue and Kicks, automaker is expected to modify the sizes of its high-riding models to achieve at least eight inches of length differences between each model.
The Outlander is expected to become slightly longer, while the outlander Sport will shrink. Moreover, the latter model is supposed to receive an all-electric variant.
The new strategy is expected to be active by 2020, though it will seemingly take longer for the lineup to fully refreshed to reflect the large size gaps.
