Major Road Project to Open on Saturday

Access to and from Dubai International City will further ease from Saturday, as phase two of the road projects around the neighborhood opens. It was announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday.

The first phase of the project opened in July last year, coming as a major relief for the area residents, who have been constricted for space for years.

The project that was executed in two phases is expected to improve traffic flow, shrink journey times and bolster safety.

The project encompasses widened roads, new flyovers, multi-tier interchanges as well as revamped signalized junctions around Warsan Village, Dragon City, and International City.
