Additional 16,000 Vehicles Need Repairs Due To Safety Issues

The recall campaign in UAE is speeding as more cars are being recalled in the country. The recalls are triggered by the faulty parts including potentially deadly airbags. The local dealers are adding thousands of more cars to the list.

In the latest round of notifications released recently, car distributors from all around the country confirmed that at least 16,000 vehicles are being recalled to fix safety issues.

It shows that the total number of units which require inspection and repair is over 35,000. An ongoing safety campaign initiated by the Ministry of Economy is requiring the dealers to review all their products.
